Natuzzi Italia at the Milan Design Week tells about the "new normal”

Eight designers invited to focus on new furnishing needs, in order to redefine objects and functions in harmony with evolving lifestyles.

Natuzzi Italia attends the Milan Design Week with an exhibition space inside the 'Supersalone', the special event of the Salone del Mobile.Milano, programmed from 5 to 10 September at Fiera Milano Rho - and various activities inside the flaghip store in via Durini.

After 18 months, the design world returns to Milan to meet, swap stories and discover the products that companies have made to respond to demands born in a moment that has changed habits and needs.

To mark the occation, Natuzzi Italia – inside Hall 2, corridor G32 – presents the previews of the new collection that this year comes to life and shape within the Circle of Harmony, a place of physical and virtual meeting, an inclusive space, of participation and comparison between different design interpretations of the brand's DNA.

In this rapidly evolving world, brand Chief Creative Officer Pasquale Junior Natuzzi has invited eight designers to focus on new furnishing needs, in order to redefine objects and functions in harmony with evolving lifestyles.

A blend of different experiences and design approaches that could propose different solutions and perspectives, while all sharing a unique and unmistakable trait: the ability to look beyond. A response to a new concept of harmony as a balance in living the domestic spaces by adapting them to different functions, facilitating the creation of a “new normal” expressed in the motto Live the Transition. A transition that becomes opportunity and substance, comparison and vision.

The designers involved (Lorenza Bozzoli, Massimo Iosa Ghini, Sabine Marcelis, Marco Piva, Elena Salmistraro, Patrick Norguet, Formafantasma and Marcel Wanders Studio) shared ideas on functionality, sustainability and well-being and also tackled the ever-growing need to design flexible furnishings that can fulfil a multifunctional role, thus breaking through boundaries of the home's internal space and making everyday life easier and simpler.

Natuzzi Italia’s Milan Design Week is rounded off by the new Circle of Harmony – Live the Transition collection on display at the Via Durini 24 flagship store, itself a go-to reference for all the insiders and for Fuorisalone events in which walkthroughs, interviews and meetings will take place to present the new concept and the new collection.
