Natuzzi Italia wins the Red Dot Award 2019

Pasquale Junior Natuzzi receives the award in Singapore

SANTERAMO. Natuzzi won the Red Dot Award - Design Concept 2019 thanks to the Ergo collection  ̶ designed by Ross Lovegrove  ̶ as a recognition for its excellent design and the use of renewable and recyclable materials.

In 2019 about 4.216 people  ̶ design concept, research projects and prototypes from the companies, designers and research institutes of 48 Country  ̶  took part at the competition. The international expert panel of design selected about 265 design concepts among 34 items categories.

The award confirms the brand’s evolutionary journey led by Pasquale J. Natuzzi, who received the award saying: “The Ergo collection is the synthesis of the past, the present and the future. It represents an intrepid and an unconventional behavior without missing to spread the Made in Italy message in the world and remembering always its identity. The Red Dot Award is a great result towards the new Natuzzi design vision and the lead to lower environmental impact, both in terms of materials and energy consumption.

The Ergo collection – introduced during the Salone del Mobile 2019 in Milan – is showcased at the Red Dot Design Museum in Singapore, where a temporary exhibition will be presenting this year’s award-winning products.
