Some of the best Italian design products are on show at the ADI Museum

The selection is a fundamental step for the nomination for the 27th Compasso d’Oro.

The annual selection of the best Italian design products on display at the ADI Design Museum in Milan includes Natuzzi Italia’s Dove armchair designed by Marcel Wanders.

This selection and participation in the exhibition represents a key event for Natuzzi Italia. Only products selected by ADI Design Index can be nominated for the 27th edition of the Compasso d’Oro, Italy’s most prestigious design award. Every edition of the Index is supported by the work of the ADI Permanent Design Observatory: more than 150 experts from every discipline – designers, entrepreneurs, researchers and specialised journalists. Year-round scouting and discussion ensures a well-considered choice and the design quality of the selected objects.

Inspired by the figure of a dove in flight. Elegant, minimal and ergonomic in equal measure, the project pursues a new comfort with two different postures through aerial and organic forms. An icon of lightness and comfort, the armchair will be on display at the ADI Design Index exhibition in Milan and later during the show in Rome.
